JD in the Bye round : Tue Nov 29, 2022 6:04 pm
James Grahams ‘the bye round’ podcast on YouTube this week has Jason Demetriou on. I’ve not seen it yet but I know there’s a fair bit about being at Wakey etc. With him being over a couple of weeks ago and meeting up with MA I’m sure he’ll of passed on some wisdom.

He's offered us Cam Murray and Latrell Mitchell.

I think Al Murray and Phil Mitchell would be more likely.

Why did we not arrange an audience with night, I am sure it would have generated much needed income.

Because the directors are incredibly busy! Apart from general recruiting and the running of a club, we are building a Stadium and have at least three other major projects on the go that I know of alone.

All our directors are unpaid and have lives outside of the club, so a bit of leeway, great though it would be we can't have an Audience with for every signing we make.

We have a marketing department apparently, I would of thought they would be able to organise this. It sounds like that anyone wishing to go to the toilet at the club needs to seek the permission of the directors.
I would say that JD would have a strong following at the club and let’s face it he has an interesting rugby career but they obviously chose to miss an obvious money making opportunity, I guess we don’t need it.

Perhaps JD had a full diary.
Always the club's fault.

Yeah of course they do. You're just moaning for the sake of it as usual.

No but we like to quote how poor we are but this would have generated interest from the supporters and earned some funds but I guess we go with too busy to save face. It would appear that one of the directors managed an audience with him despite being so busy.
