But yet you are the same every off season aren't you?! You are never off here extolling the virtues of new players who haven't even taken to the field yet!! Yet when we are a few games in you are the first to dive in there and slag off the coaches and players. You need to re-read some of your posts from last season, even though it will take you months, before you start having a go at people on here. Butler did nothing and was signed in May, You said Tom Johnstone getting injured was a disaster for the team, it wasn't.he has loads to prove. Bowden did ok. I HOPE Atoni, Proctor etc prove to be good signings, but none of us know how they will do, clearly, but it doesn't stop all the clairvoyants on here knowing they will be good signings! You can't seem to post without having a go at fellow posters, you are like a broken record mate, and when we get to April/May and things MIGHT not be going so well, let's see what you put on here then......
Butler was nowhere near fit, but showed towards the end that he could improve. It was a disaster that Tom got injured at the time he did - so that is correct. Only after time did we see that we had a fine replacement in Lewis Murphy.

Just looking at your user name doesn't look like your much of a fan either, that's assuming you ditched your previous one, big if I know, but will you be changing it again if we have a good season.

Butler wasn’t fit when he arrived but back end of season he shed some weight and was looking fitter. I watched a few times in reserves and a few games at the back end and he was certainly improving along with his fitness. If he has a good pre -season and gets in good shape then Butler could very well be a surprise package for us in superleague. I’m optimistic we will see Butler raring to go after this pre season.
Tom’s injury did hurt us initially but Murphy has certainly filled that hole. I would think we are going to see how Murphy goes in the first few months of the season and contract negotiations will be ongoing.
First of all, the first 3 games had Lineham and TJ on the wing, then Lineham got injured at Saints and was out for a few months. Murph's debut was against Leeds at home, with Tom Johnstone on the other wing was it not??

Well you can assume what you like pal!! I used to be Wildmoggy on here, but had trouble with logging on with a new password, and found it easier to start again.

So you don't think Murphy is Toms replacement.
What wing he's on is utterly not relevant imo, it's about having a player with massive strike potential, who cares what wing that comes down?
