I have an issue with both of them.

Namely that during their final season with Wigan, they clearly had other things on their minds.

Bateman's issue with Hastings and Hastings' issue with Bateman mean diddly-squat compared to that.

I know a lot of what went on when Hastings was at Wigan and lets just say its no surprise at all that Wigan look a much better team without him. On and off the field.

I heard he was difficult to work with he was loved a Salford but apparently the players hated him. The lads what now on his 6th club now and on pitch performance is great. If that doesn’t ring alarm bells then not sure what does
