Is he not struggling with physical fitness too? He looked like he'd ran a marathon after barely 10 minutes

sounds like a better performance than last week then

Apart from when a 30 year old plus prop forward danced around him then beat him for pace in the 2nd half and then when he let the ball bounce for Radfords try. Players out of postion get foundout. We had that all last year, Richards would have been a better option.

Palessina (sp) caused problems as usual, going into every tackle hard, making yards, then looking to flick it out the back door.

Both teams were fairly even tonight, but Hull may have had the edge of the fitness front.

Positives:

Tim Smith -- Good kicking game again. His cross field kicks are as good as Barretts.
Defence was good apart from a few lapses.
McIlorum had a decent game and probably played more minutes than out first choice 9.
Fielden -- Improved on last week.

For all the Riddell beaters, he picked up an injury early on, I was suprised he came back on at all.

For me, like a couple of Hull fans have said, very even tonight... can't say best team won or lost. Thought we lost the game when Roberts let the ball bounce and they scored from it... but he was still 100% better than Mathers. We made too many mistakes near the line and that is something that needs sorted. I also thought a couple of pens went their way that shouldn't have but hey it evens itself out over the season

Positve for me were Tommy as usual, Feka looked good, O'Carroll looked good but Locky's defence was awesome. He was everywhere tonight and was man of the match for me - go on Locky bashers... deny it!
