He is a player that has always given his all for the team. Liked and respected by other team members, I'm sure that there is more to this than meets the eye.
He has been unlucky with his tenure at Leeds with injuries but his effort and commitment has never been in doubt IMHO.
I think there is a better player in there than we have seen and always rated him while he was at Huddersfield. Maybe we werent the right team at the right time for him.
I wish him well wherever he ends up

Clearly affected Reece Martin who said he was dumbfounded to hear Leeming was leaving and it showed it Martin`s game on the night.
Maybe one or two others were affected by it.
I agree a guy with intentions on becoming Englands #9 and our captain last year should have set a better example than disrupting the camp just because he wasn`t get picked.

The captaincy thing would have stung as well. He was in the YEP talking about how he wanted to be captain again not long before Smith said there wouldn't be one. For whatever reason it sounds like things just fell apart.

There was a valid reason. Despite great effort his decision making and defence were not what Rohan expects at this level. If you watch the Hull game again fir an example, he runs down a blind alley x2 on 5th tackle, when we were perfectly lined up. I called this out at the time as absolutely unacceptable . He was told that in typical blunt Aussie way. Think he’s too old to relearn the game, so looking for a team who he can actually improve…..

I'm sure they did. But whatever anyone thinks of the respective qualities of Dwyer or leeming, moving from a position of having four mid table standard hookers on our books to having two isn't really progress in the short term.

I think it's a prime example of how the squad has been mismanaged in the last few years.

Having Leeming and Dwyer who both have similar downsides as first choice hookers was clearly never going to work - Smith obviously saw this hence Dwyer gone and OConner shifting positions(successfully IMO).

The Leeming situation is one I can't get my head around really - he's always seemed like a decent professional and one that puts the team first so this has come out of the blue, but I do think it's a bizarre thing to do, he's basically thrown his Leeds Career away without having something lined up, the only thing I can think is he has actually got something lined up, if that's the case I would have thought it would be in the NRL because clubs aren't allowed to talk to contracted players at this stage of the season are they?
