Brexit disaster : Fri Jun 10, 2022 8:15 am
The economic damage caused by Brexit, never mind the damage caused to The Union, is costing our economy £billions.
Is this really a price worth paying for "taking back control"

Looks like "project fear" had some legitimate concerns.

Hmmm... So an organisation that is unashamedly pro EU says we would be better off in said EU. Well I never...

Meanwhile, Rees- Mogg is stepping up production of Penny Farthing bikes and thick blankets to cope with our "prosperity"

If that report is only half right, "we've" made a pretty hefty error and if it is accurate, maybe we should send the people behind Brexit to Rwanda

Seriously though, just take a look at the trade stats, "not great" would be a huge understatement

Which figures are you talking about? The factual ones or the hypothetical guesswork ones?

There are a bit of both in the article. The CER figures, and a real world example. Ian Perkes, seafood wholesaler, despite being told by Johnson that his "business would boom", is actually spending £300 a day on customs declarations, export health certificates and VAT declarations.

Please tell us in what ways we are better off and I don’t count having blue passports printed in France, a crown added to a glass or imperial measurements all of which we were able to do anyway whilst in the EU. I would add that given JRM a job is definitely not a plus.

I did and you don’t think that the government website might be slightly biased.
