Bigger picture, Brexit is done and Big Dog is (nearly) gone… this should be put to bed. If Truss tries to use it to whip people up, I think it’ll fall flat with the looming cost of living crisis and everything being a bit poop. On the other hand, I’m not sure what else she’s got. Might have a look…

Sunak would be a better candidate but he has no chance now - so we are stuck with a big dog defender. Time will tell but I am not holding my breath. The only saving grace is the equal lack of quality in the labour party and the increasing power grabbing attitude of the unions.

The government are rubbish and so are the opposition. As saving graces go, it isn’t the most reassuring or inspirational.

Well, something silly we just did just caused exports to European countries to collapse. So there is huge growth potential there now! Isn't that great!?

Exports to the EU are the highest since records began.
Hardly a collapse

The salient point being that current export to EU figures would be some £50 billions higher but for Brexit
