Starting to have doubts about Ashworth, too inconsistent, thought he was poor last night again, too many penalties and missed tackles.


Id be happy with Ese Ese, Aydin, Fash, Hill, Eseh and then either Sao or Knight if the quota rules change.


I'd only keep Ashworth is we can't sign better and the rules don't change.

That's clearly the club's view or he'd have been signed by now.  Frustrating as he's good when he's on it but probably why he never lasted at saints and didn't pull up any trees at hudds

TBF I actually thought Ashworth was pretty good last night, playing as a make shift 2nd row at times as well as a front rower. Don't think the impact of us having no recognised 2nd rowers for a lengthy period of time can be understated, that does hurt us and it showed even more with Asiata leaving the game early in the 2nd half.

Stats are poor Chris, 19 tackles 6 misses, 8 hit ups, 42m (AG 5M).2 penalties.

Ashworth for his faults still brings more impact of the bench than Fash or Aydin ..  Last couple of games hadn't been at his best but last year and the start of this was one of our better forwards imo
