Danny Brough made some good points that your 9 should be looking at the defensive line and seeing where the numbers are and give the ball to where there’s a man over. If not then one of the pivots should at least be seeing it and be shouting ‘boss ball’ and if the ball doesn’t come that side then ‘strong feedback’ is given….. lack of leadership and direction ball just goes wherever Lino is….

Some of us have been saying that the stumbling block is Carter, he's been in charge of recruitment and what a mess it's been. Constant inactivity in player recruitment means all coaches are left behind the black ball.
Ultimately you get what you pay for but with the present owners total lack of marketing and movi3 the club forward funds have been set low.
Please remember after Carter's first 2 years stability he's had 8 years to develop the club and formulate a medium to long term plan.

I have not hidden my views on MC and accountants running a business especially one that is sports based. He is clearly good at being an accountant but has forgotten what you need, to be a successful rugby club. This is definitely more obvious this season when all the actions taken are clearly to save money regardless of the obvious outcome. He will then disappear into the sunset leaving the supporters to follow what remains. I don’t know why he does not go now he can discuss his take from the takeover without being involved.

You're right about our poor defence but, our offensive play or, lack of it, is far more concerning.
Leigh are playing well but, not to come close to scoring v 11 players is as bad as it gets.
