| I’ve been following him a fair while. Assuming he’s playing loose, he’s a tough small nuggety defender who works hard, and is technically excellent. He won’t run through brick walls, but will get through a lot of carries and find his front, a bit like Pitts. He’s also got Hookers’ hands (pardon me) as he’s played a lot of his career there - as a lot of coaches have written him off as a loose.
He doesn’t look scary, but he’s deceptively tough, a bit like Arona but just more talented.
I agree that Cozza’s been going well. But Pitts is essentially into his last season next year, and Cozza will remain a very able backup to Tevega.

I haven't watched him since he was at Warriors, when he was known as a super sub and playing interchange hooker the majority of the time. His appearance is deceptive because he's a hardnose player who doesn't take any crap from the opposition and he also gets stuck into his teammates when they're not pulling their weight. he's got great distribution from acting half-back and has a decent little kicking game plus a solid defence. This year when he moved to Manly where he started as an interchange hooker but has moved to Loose where he's really done well and found his place apparently. Manly fans thought they were keeping him, or at least another NRL team would have snapped him up, so they're surprised he's chosen to come to SL. There's a good thread on his time at Manly, on their forum if anyone wants a read - https://silvertails.net/threads/the-jazz-thread-all-that-jazz.64326/

| I know of Tevaga but haven't really watched him closely as he hasn't played for a team I like... However his name is a constant in commentary and he certainly carries a 'tough' player reputation... He's a middle in the Pitts mould, with versatility to cover several positions. Should certainly go well in SL. A Yorkshire post article (behind a paywall) yesterday had an interview with Ellis who stated we have made three signings but only announced Tyson Smoothy so far, and he expected the total new faces next season to be about 5...

| I've just watched the game he played against Cowboys in May
Played about 65 minutes, starting at hooker then coming back on at 13.
The first thing you notice is that he is everywhere. He's built like a brick but he has a massive engine. He isn't a big smash hitter, though he clearly hits hard. Every tackle seemed to be waist or lower. And he hunts people down. He doesn't wait for them to run at him. In attack he did a couple of good offloads and ran hard but obviously he was passing most of the time at either 9 or doing a Pitts type role.
It's worth saying experts in studio and DCE picked him out as the player who has improved the team this year.
Supporters like him and quite a few have said Manly are better when he's at 13.
