| Very happy with that performance today. Despite some apprehension with some spine moves it turned out looking very fluid and dangerous today. Clearly there’s been work done on this front. Happy to see it continue if we link up like that.
1-17 though were fantastic today.
I think I’ve seen enough now that Croft has become a very competent second row snd looks to be steadily improving. I think it’s time to start thinking about a new contract for him.
Cozza lays the game very similar to Pitts. Great pair of hands and very busy in defence and attack. Pitts looks like he could go round another season but him and Cozza at 13 looks very good. Cozza could be the new Pitts when he’s ready to hang his boots up.
Just very impressed with the whole team to be honest.

| The point Legend makes about Lino is a good one often forgotten.
Lino played a long time with injuries or niggles in previous seasons. A lot of the criticism stems from that.
Hood is similar. He got a lot of stick for being slow but now he's had a good off season and back to fitness he's one of our best.
It's never because they can't be bothered or not up for it.
As for Truman, TJ is a perfect example of why you stick with someone through their injuries. He might not make it and if that's the case so be it but if he does he's one of he best 6s in the league. It's simply highlighted because his 2 understudy are also injured.

| One think I like about yesterday's win is that half the team are under 25. There is a lot of development in this team.

| I for one have been a critic of Lino in the past on a consistency base. Yesterday he showed what he is capable of for sure. I really hope he can continue with this form and confidence for the rest of the year. His defence has never been in question, he organised his edge yesterday magnificently. Good on him.
How good was Jowitts pass to Johnstone for that try, short floating pass over the top, real class touch. Thought his defence was magnificent at 6 too, really fronted up.

| Lino tends to play very well against Wire, and, the inexplicable six again offence aside, yesterday was another. He frustrates the hell out of me in a good number of games generally, but his commitment can never be doubted. He must have been working on his kicks as they generally found the grass, but then our pack was on top which always makes the HB role easier.
