| We could have been there if,people who new what they were doing had not taken over the club well over 10 year ago . They got there priorities right and made the right decision to save the club ,that were not always popular with the fans .Salford like Bradford went down the other root Who's shoes would you be in now .If Salford go bust feel sorry for the fans . Like us there as got to be some fans that have followed them for 50 PLUS years or longer

| Super league/ RFL has a lot to answer for allowing this situation to play out like it has. What was needed was strong leadership. Not only was all this inevitable and the RFL has given them 500K, who was watching over this Blind Pugh !
Where do we go from here , keep throwing more money to hopefully get them to the end of the season ? It makes a mockery of IMG financial management requirements
What a mess.

| They need to see the season out to ensure SL meets their contractual obligations. After that they're gone unfortunately.
Myself and a few others have been saying this is the way it would end for Salford for a few years, even when they had been relatively successful. Living on the bubble eventually catches up with you and once the council said no more they were screwed, hence the payday loans to cover what the council no longer would.
The games isn't finding another half a million quid to stave off HMRC, I wounder if the other clubs will chuck in £50k each to keep them going.

| Nothing most didn’t expect in those two articles unfortunately.
They will be aided to see the season out and then likely cut adrift into lower leagues, hopefully new management can come in to stabilise and rebuild at some point.
