whats the point of fetching our lads into the game you can have one of the best youth sytems in the league and still not be deemed good enough for sl or yoy can have virtually no youth set up but be kept in.

The reason that your under 18s is so strong is because Kear has done very little with the gifted young lads you have, choosing to bring in second rate imports as opposed to giving young lads a shot. This means that both the 18s and 21s have remained exactly that with little progression from 18s to 21s and 21s to 1st team. What this means is that your 18s are effectively playing most teams 16/17 year olds and your 21s playing 18 year olds on a weekly basis.

There is very little point in having such a wonderful youth system if used sparingly!!

I agree to a certain extent, but in reality you cannot put them in all at once, you need the older and more experienced players there to protect and unfortunately we have been in the position, because of circumstance, of only being able to attract a certain type of player. I feel that at times we have played too many youngsters in the team which has probably been to their detriment.

It is tough PHe but I feel that whatever is been spent on semi is wasted as you have a young lad like Potts scoring tries for fun albeit in a lower division but some of your lads must be peeved at not getting a shot!!

I just hope that Kear is well and truly out of the picture for the Cas vacancy!!
