A loyal, proud, impressive group of Salford fans are following their team with passion and pride despite the nightmare the club is living through. I hope very much that on Sunday the Wakefield fans who start the chants do not goad the Salford fans and players with the usual ` you have seen the Trin now **** off home ` or the equally moronic ` Super League you are having a laugh ` or other chants that are disrespectful and insulting towards a group of players who are giving their all in challenging conditions and Salford fans who deserve respect.  


Of all the fan groups, we the Wakefield fans should have the most empathy towards the Salford players and fans as we know and understand their pain having lived through similar circumstances over the last few decades. 


I would hope that we applaud the Salford fans and Players, it is right thing to do.

Totally agree belly . I'm sure the people in the north stand singing this rubbish give a fig for Salford or any other club visiting Belle Vue.

I was talking to 2 Salford fans in our hotel at Magic Weekend. They were hoping to come to BV for their game. I did say most Wakey fans would be very sympathetic as we'd gone through rough patches. 

Got more chance of it freezing over in Hell Like all clubs ,we have got some people who are fowled mouth .Could be the same bunch who were throwing beer over Wakefield fans at Magic .My mate said ,they must be rich B******* if they can throw beer around at these prices

When in Spain we met up with 8 Reds fans in the El Pub in Fenals.  Then the following weekend we met up with the same lads in the Quayside hotel in Newcastle for the Magic weekend. A good bunch of lads who just want the best for their team and Rugby League in general.

TBF, every team seem to sing that now.........

However, what I will say that all the Wakey fans that were around me at Magic Weekend were on their feet applading the Salford players at the end of the game, and I would hope that the same thing happens on Sunday.

I don’t recall many fans of any of clubs in 2023 being kind to us in a season we had to cut our cloth to the bone to enable growth off the pitch. Much the opposite to be honest with a lot saying Trinity deserved it and being quite harsh. 


Though Salford I feel bad for as their clubs in real jeapordy so I think the fans will be welcome. 

With Salfords situation and a few injuries in their team, wonder if we will look to maybe 'rest' a few with some of the fringe players getting a go...

I always believe we should put our strongest team on the day, we need to improve our points difference which could be vital for a top six finish, and if that means putting Salford to the sword then so be it.
