| I'm sure that the club and John Kear are already considering whether to offer extensions to those players OOC at the end of the season. All the threequarters are contracted for next season so it's likely our pack will take a complete overhaul ready for 2011. Players OOC are;
Paul Cooke
Kyle Bibb
Paul King
Tevita Leo Latu?
Glenn Morrision
Paul Johnson
Danny Kirmond (Loan finishes)
Jason Demetriou
Out of those i'd hope we offer King another one year deal, keep Kirmond after his initial loan and offer Latu a 2 year deal by which time Davey will hopefully be a permanent fixture in the 17. What's everyone elses thoughts?

They had a pretty good season last year, I can only imagine the complaining on here had we let the majority of them go.
Since Kirmond regained his mach fitness I have been very impressed with his endeavours.

| Morrision is a tough call. He's an obvious talent and a great leader but is likely to spend time on the sideline and takes a quot spot. I guess the call JK has to make is whether we require his leadership so much so that he's prepared to take the risk that he may be injured for a significant amount of the season.

If JD and Morro go thats a hell of a lot of leadership gone.

If he had knee problems or prone to other injuries of that nature I would agree but Its a bit harsh on tesco to assume he will pick up more injuries than anybody else. Up until he broke his thumb which can happen to anybody he spent more time on the field than any of the other forwards, I would take a chance on him personally.

Very true, i guess i'm hypothesizing that the chance of injury is higher in an older player coupled with the justification of a quota spot. That said, if he does stay injury free he'd be a massive gain but it is quite risky especially for a club like our's who has limited resources

thing to remember with morro is he has history for missing a big chunk of season. This was the reason why we, bulls, didnt offer him a new deal. He isnt prone to any particular injury but, probably because of the way he throws himself into game 100% every week, he tends to pick up injuries all over and they tend to be ones that keep him out for a while. No doubt he's a fantastic player when fit, the question is can you afford to tie a quota spot up on a player your not likely to get a full season out of. bradford decided it was too big a risk. your board may decide otherwise depending on if you need the quota spot or not.

Pretty much the best tackler in the team at the moment. I'd play him at centre instead of Gleeson.

I did not know that, unlike yourself what watched him week in and week out, I based my opinion on the fact that until he broke his thumb he was an ever present on the field till about the 5th game when he was subbed. As you and trin till death said though the problem is do you take a punt on his fitness coupled with tying up a quota spot, who'd be a SL coach eh.
