To my mind, the big issue with SL players dropping a division is fitness and motivation. From the photo he certainly looks in good condition and I don't think JD would sign someone who wasn't suitably "up for it".

I also think it's interesting that some of our young local lads (sagar et al) have had chance to gain experience and mature, and the right mix of "old heads" around them will bring them on even more.

However, I still think we lack out and out pace.

All the talk has been about Korky but I think Neil Cherryholme is a good signing

He didnt do a bad job when we had on loan from the Bulls and he has been a solid performer for fax over the past few years

I was disappointed that he wasn't retained by Fax as I thought he would have learned a lot off Rhino and flourished

The announcement above seems to infer there will be more to follow. Exciting times at Cougar Park. A big centre and lightening winger would cap things off nicely.

Competitive times would probably be a better way to explain the coming season for the cougers.

For Cougar fans I would stick with the exciting, but agree the games will be competitive. We've been there before and on the playing side got relegated with our heads held high so watch out the Cougars are back!

Actually you could be right.With the exception of Fax and Fev the rest of the league could be quite well matched.
