Hard to judge really as in the games he’s had in the 1st team he’s not really been in enough space to see what he can do. He scored a full lengther in a pre season game against Salford but he hardly left them for dead. 

So I honestly don’t know from what I’ve seen. 


Wigan definitely see him as a winger though and not a centre, where he has spent some time previously.

Think whatever you want of how he'll do in RL, but there's been some proper media coverage of him coming to Wigan. We named him in the team at lunch time in a game at f * ing Castleford away. No hype, no Wigan TV coverage - not even a commentary stream. If they'd have swapped it to a home game, there might have been a half decent crowd on. If it was on Wigan TV, I'm sure plenty would have tuned in etc. I just don't see other sports making these kinds of own goals.

I suppose the question is whether he'll get up to speed such that he'll be a better option than Douglas until Miski returns.

I'd be up for anything that would spark a bit of my interest atm so stick him in for me (particularly if Douglas is leaving). Dont get me wrong- Im still watching and always will but it all feels very flat at the moment. I think its a combination of being out of the cup so there's no big game in the short term, all of the success we've had and the lopsided nature of a lot of the games. All credit must go to the Wigan club for that and its the job of other clubs to get up there with them. But there's little jeopardy just now. Wakefield away in a couple of weeks should be a good test.
