Disappointed he has not given it a go in SL would have loved to see him perform at that level as championship was way below his level. Should get compensation if he gets an NRL contract and opens up a slot with enough time to fill before season starts. Pity he didn’t say before Stone got taken on by Salford as would have loved to keep him!

Blake has a close relation with some health issues, hence his return to Aus. He isn’t thinking about his rugby at the moment. We wish Blake and his family all the best and hope they get well soon. Thanks for everything Fergie and good luck for the rest of your career .

I think the general opinion is he would be a valuable strike player for us and with out him, dependant on who we bring in will be a weaker team. Just by having him on our team sheet would have given the oppo team someting to think about. Can we do anything about him packing up and going home, no, but that doesn’t mean people can’t be a bit down hearted he won’t be stepping out for us next year
