Must be time for my evening libation.
I find myself musing that McNamara is available.
I don't think it would make any difference. Whatever is wrong at our club spans coaches and players.
I'm not even bothered about the playoffs as there is zero hope of us winning 3 increasingly difficult games in a row. I even think the players know it too. Furthermore a lowly league position (again) may just send a signal to the club owners that something is really amiss.
My personal belief is the club owners know exactly where we are because this is not just about this season it as been many a season. Now Moran and Middleton are successful business men and you think they could run the club in the same way.
Now I have made reference that to me this is just their train set and they play with it to let off steam at the end of the day in their real jobs. Now before someone jumps down my throat and starts say what a load of bull I am talking and these guys have invested a lot of money in this train set yes they have, but il go out and say well they wouldn’t have done it if they could not afford it. I’m no expert in high finance.
So they are successful business men in other fields is it a case of they don’t know how to run a sports club or is it just a toy to them, not sure I would believe that. Just can’t get my head around what is so wrong. The culture as often been mentioned and that will have a lot to do with it and we have a go at the players for being out on benders we have a go at Fitzpatrick for all sorts would Moran and Middleton allow this in their other businesses I doubt it. So coming back to your point about it sending a signal I think that wire was cut a long time back.
