If you look at the sheer volume of decisions that have gone against us in four games, it's hard not to think that. The facts are that Saints humiliated the RFL with the Knowles fiasco last season and it showed how incompetent a ship the RFL run. They are smarting from that and are hammering us. If you think the RFL is too professional for that to happen you need to have a think. Whilst I doubt it's a deliberate campaign, I have no doubt that everyone involved in the disciplinary process hates Saints right now over that as they all had their pants pulled down. If you think referees are above being dishonest I suggest you look at some of the Mark Clattenburg interviews and interviews with former referees in general. They talk openly about wanting certain teams to win games and about hating certain players. Referees and disciplinary committees are people and are open to the same biases, jealousies and hatred as we all are. There isn't a pre-conceived conspiracy, but we're certainly not going to get any favours this season. |

Although I do concede that there may be MANY reasons why lots of people (RFL included) dislike St Helens RFC and jealousy would only be a small percentage of those. David Edgell in his letter to the RL Express seems to be yet another Saints fan taking 2 losses in his stride - that your real name???? |

I really think you need to go and lie down in a darkened room*. Your results this season are down to how your team have played. You are noticing poor decisions because for the last few seasons you have had the rub of the green on decisions (I am being neutral there).
*If you think you will get any sympathy on here then a sanatorium may be more appropriate. |

I'm pretty sure the appointed ref will have his mojo back in time for the upcoming Saints v Wire game .The famous Saints "line speed" will be in evidence with copious forward passes involved & Walmsley will be moving off the mark at every opportunity.

What is it with Saints fans blaming refs for every defeat but their own team’s ability through ailing fitness in depth and poor discipline!? :
IDEA:
St Helens probably don’t remotely rival the current weight of penalties given by the likes of structured teams like Salford and Huddersfield have been getting.
Wire had the season from hell in 2022, and went through god knows how many injuries and suspensions along the way…I can’t recall any fan of here blaming the referee for it!!  |
