Lord Tony Smith:Might have to get used to him missing. I believe Catalans are sniffing round for next season and he is very much interested. He is still contracted to Wire for next season, so Catalan will have to pay a significant transfer fee for the current England captain. Heard that Hull FC made an approach for him, which was dismissed by Wire before FC signed Will Pryce. Think he will leave Wire at the end of his current contract though, unless we up the ante. |

Yeah strange one, low risk obviously but still in my view takes a spot that Thewlis Jnr could have taken sooner. I guess 50% of not very much is still not very much - wont be having a great impact on the cap, and obviously on loan would count as zero if that was the route we went down. |

Totally agree about Thewlis Jnr on the limited viewings I've had, he looks like a decent player in the making and one that isn't too far off at that, I must admit to being a bit confused about our Ollie's and our Alfie's reading the posts but not the article Alfie the winger I feel a bit sorry for but it's a tough sport and his performance in the cup game at Widnes would have been very hard for anyone to recover from |
