Do you think any of our players in the current squad will be around long enough to break Ryan Atkins try scoring record for us during the SL Era? It stands at 139 I believe. Matty Ashton is already at 95. Can we see Thewlis doing so? I think he's a lot less prolific for his time around the team. 49 tries.
Beyond that, how long do you think it'll be before a Warrington born player will best Chris Rileys tally of 120?

I think Josh Thewlis needs a bit more confidence to run straight for the line at times instead of trying to cut inside.
From what i've seen Jake is more of a straight for the line kind of guy.

He is a professional rugby player not a child that needs encouragement. On balance he simply isn't good enough to be our starting centre when we have players with far more talent waiting for their chance. But then I remember you saying that players have families and we can't risk upsetting their delicate sensibilities ( by discussing on a forum that is designed for that very purpose) so shall I also pick out Russell's positive points or will you leave your imaginary world temporarily to concede he perhaps isn't brilliant either? |
