With Gale, Sammut, Purtell and Lulia already confirmed for 2012 the next signing should be a impact prop with experience who can lead by example and hopefully the younger players will inherit some of the skills/spirit.

The young forwards coming through (the likes of) Kopczak, Whitehead, Addy, Olbison, Donaldson and Burgess, all necessarily haven't shown the required aggression and fight needed to dominate the opposition and a experienced professional can only help their and the clubs cause.

Given it's dragged on for 4 weeks now and it should have been a straightforward yes/no answer, I see two possibilities. First and IMO most likely there's a big argument taking place behind scenes between rfl and bulls. Second option is we got dispensation straight away and have already signed someone but are waiting to announce it to boost pledge campaign. Given our recent history of overseas signings falling through (bird,Seymour) waiting till all details are rubber-stamped would make sense.
