Very good signing in my opinion. Defence is questionable at times but can deliver huge hits when required. Strong runner with a good offload. If we work on his defence, he will be a very good replacement for Soliola.

If this is us replacing Soliola then it's another poor signing and another drop in quality for us to suffer. If it's a swap for Flanagan or Wellens then it's probably an improvement.

Fewer misses than soliola overall, a slightly better tackle completion (6.9% misses compared to soliolas 8.8%) - and after factori in Vea's played slightly fewer games and adjusting, Vea has only made roughly 20 tackles less than soliola total. Not bad at all when you consider the quality around him.

The only stat Soliola is significantly better in is his fewer errors (half of Vea's when adjusted) - the rest is generally very close other than busts where Vea creams soliola

And that's playing for London, but don't let stats get in the way of the fantasy that everything is wrong.

As I said earlier in the thread, I'm happy that the club didn't say he was a replacement for Sia. He's not a good replacement for Sia no matter what stats say.
