Is he any good?

Hardly played for us, 3 or 4 games tops. Likes to try and keep the ball alive in the tackle, and has some pace for a tall boy. He's about 6' 3" at least, but could do with some meat on him. That's it sorry, think I've only seen him play twice.

sign lower league players you end up a lower league team

He's only 20 Tad.From his highlights looks decent under high ball has pace and a step on him. 6ft.4 Smith has obviously seen potential there. He'll be on a lower wage bracket.

I cant see us replacing Tet or Prior until 24.

As pointed out earlier we will need to find two good props,one or two HBs and maybe a winger.
That's a big shopping list given the quality we need.

That depends doesn't it -sign younger lower league players with potential as part of the wider squad doesn't = end up in lower league.

Joe Batchelor and Alex Wamsley both came from the lower leagues.

I don`t get it with Olpherts or Hooley for that matter.
Whilst Olpherts is an upgrade on Briscoe he is still behind Fusitua and Handley and we still have Tindall.
Hooley like I`ve said before is good going forward but his defence is questionable and is behind Myler and Hardaker.
Whilst the centre from Leigh looks good and is an upgrade on Sutcliffe I`ve not seen anywhere that he`s a confirmed signing.

But we're not keeping ZH though, and Walker is broken. Another FB for the squad is essential

Hetherington video on the Rhinos youtube channel with the usual overtones of looking to the academy and the limits of the salary cap, so I wouldn't expect high quality signings, especially not the number required to improve the squad.

Doesn’t add up really -

FB - Myler, Hardaker, Hooley, Walker - surely Walker goes.
Wing - Fusitua, Handley, Olpherts, Tindall, Roberts - my thinking is Fusitua is leaving and Olpherts replaces him.
Centre - Newman, Hardaker, Edwards, Simpson, MacDonald?

It all doesn’t add up to me personally as it is above, but I’m guessing there is still a number of changes to be made
