Really disappointing if true, he looks to be getting over the injury problems, and will clearly be a top player. As others have said, I think it?s a bit young to go over, and doubt he?ll be playing first grade for the first couple of seasons at least.
No doubt the signing is linked with Agar being at the Warriors. He originally touted Gannon as a generational talent, so must have given a strong recommendation.
What are our back row prospects coming out the academy at the minute? Any on the verge of breaking into the first team in the next couple of years to take Gannons spot?
Should we need him, I'd say Edgell is next up, then Jack Smith, then one of the Academy / Reserves wingers for a game here or there. If we don't believe in Edgell or Smith, why are they in the first team squad?
