Terrible result for us today. I might not have said that if offered a draw beforehand, but having seen that Q.P.R team, it’s definitely 2 points dropped. They were technically the worst team I’ve seen this season, the centre forward looked like he’d come out of the local pub and was blowing after 10 minutes, the centre half couldn’t kick a football and a few of the others couldn’t even control the ball. Let’s be honest, we gave them a 2 goal start, two shocking goals to concede. Gnonto will feel really hard done by if he doesn’t start next week, we looked so much better when he replaced Aaronson. Today was another reminder that we need a centre forward who plays like a centre forward, I.e getting across defenders, getting on the end of crosses and generally being in there where we need him. It’s not an attack on Piroe, because we don’t really have another option, but the amount of balls that go across or into the box going unchallenged is a joke at times. Thought James and Solomon both worked hard and took the fight to them, but they would both look so much better with a forward busting his guts to get into the middle giving them an early option. On Solomon, it’s a good job I’m not manager because he would have been invited into a quiet room after the game and found himself pinned to the wall. I understand he was miffed at being subbed, and I can forgive his initial outburst and arm waving, but to walk around the pitch in front of 2000 Leeds fans and carry on like he did was well out of order. It’s disrespectful to Daniel Farke , undermines the poor bugger replacing him (Ramazani) and is beyond petulant. I think he’s forgetting he wasn’t rated good enough to play in the Premier League this season for Spurs and isn’t called Lionel Messi.  

Farke confirmed as staying. He deserves a chance, but I think he'll be gone in 6 months 

Wow what a weekend, still recovering from Saturday if im honest  

Unbelievable. what a turnout yesterday.. Police reckon conservatively 200k there, but probably nearer 300k. Passed without incident too which is a huge credit to the fans. Apparently the city centre is a bomb site though.. LOL


Pleased Farke staying, he deserves a chance. Apparently Marathe told him privately a week or so back. See the transfer window opens 1st June for 10 days then reopens again 16th... lets hope we get some early business done, Farke was saying he wants players in early and not last minute.. Marathe also saying we will spend max allowed under FFP rules which is great to hear, lets hope they can get creative with it also and create some more room.. it will be interesting to see what spending power we have.  

Strong rumour doing the rounds that Marathe approached Mourihno who turned him down.
I`m 50/50 wrt Farke.
On one hand he deserves a chance and the players seem to like him.
On the other hand he has tried and failed in the PL before without the financial backing.
We will find out by the end of November if it was a shrewd decision.

Can't see them looking at Mourihno, he doens't fit the way the club has been built to play football these last 6 years since Bielsa was hired. He totally changed the clubs philosophy and the fans love the possession based football that Farke has continued with (albeit a bit more reserved than Bielsa style), don't think the fans would put up with it, would be a bigger gamble imo. 


On another note, listened to a very interesting piece on Talksport from a football financial expert about the FFP impact on clubs coming up into the Prem. They are majorly hamstrung by the rules and the only way to get it changed is the PL clubs voting to change it, which won't happen as it would be Turkey's voting for Xmas... the rules are absolutely ridiculous and it's widening the gap between promoted teams and the established Prem teams. 


Leeds will need to do some very very smart recruitment.
