We came a Dave Larder fingertip away from reaching the Grand Final in 2005 under Faz after a great run of form in the latter part of the season yet people still moaned as we were playing 'boring' rugby.

We just need a coach who can shore up our somewhat dodgy defence whilst keeping our exciting brand of attacking rugby. I thought we were onto a winner with Nobby on board to mentor Matt et al on this. I admire teams like Batley who play the simple stuff very effectively and win games by them (that's how they beat us) Would I want to see a Karl Harrison type team every week? I'm not so sure.

are we certain it is a Matt / Nobby issue why he has Ieft? just a thought
