Phew! That was a close call! We couldn't afford to drop points against Barrow.

Was an odd game, felt we were always the better side we just couldn't put them away. They had 5 chances and took them all

Could someone please tell me what Brett Ferres contributes to the Dons side.

It must be in his contract that he has to play because apart from being a senior player and a voice he offers nothing on the pitch! The fact we send halliday off yet keep him shows it's still an old boys act.

Well he did set up Brad Hey for the first try.

As much as I am not a Ferres fan I think Hall has been a far bigger liability for a while tbh and cannot understand how despite offering no attacking threat or solid defense and making numerous errors with ball in hand he gets in every week over Guzdek who is solid as a rock defensively and makes good post contact metres, significantly better player at the minute imo.

I really rated Hall earlier in his career but given his form over the last few months I think he has gone on a season too far.

I can understand the Halliday thing to some extent as I think he can be a iffy under the highball compared to Faraimo and Briscoe and I think they generally both offer a lot bringing the ball back at the start of sets too.

I think the Bullman try did highlight that we seem to have a lack of an out and out speedster though and would like to see us get someone of this type regardless of position for next year ideally.

Feel like we need more players with the heart of Boas as he is vital for us imo and really seems to be our biggest attacking threat when it comes to taken the line on and keeping the defense guessing. While at the same time he never stops being an absolute competitor and puts his all into everything, a joy to watch imo.

That's a 3yr contract coming his way then!
