When we had the ask Carl hall questions on YouTube i asked if there's gonna be any accountability for missed targets and consistent failures to which he ignored and a few weeks after stopped doing them. The decision to keep horne on this long reeks of an old boys act and that's the one of the biggest things holding us back. Accountability is in every workplace except club doncaster

According to form it was Club Doncaster that made Carl stop the dugout segments, as it was turning into a witch hunt with no constructive questions just abuse.

I don't know where the Dons sit regarding playing budget, but we must be on a par with the top four in the division with the excepting of Keighley , who look to have thrown the kitchen sink at securing promotion.

I know Club Doncaster are all about staying sustainable and don't tend to spend more than they can afford however, look at the last few years in League 1 it's the team spending the most money getting promoted.

Is it time to go all out and bring in Championship proven players to get us to the next step.?

Do they count asking probing questions as a abuse? My question was will there be any accountability for 5 years of missed targets and failures and the question got totally shut down! If we the fans can't question what's happening with our club then we become part of the cult like those superfans on facebook who bow down to anything club doncaster and Carl hall says. If we don't go up this season we definitely have the facilities and resources to do a Keighley next season but sadly we don't have the ambition.

I was part of the Fans panel group at the time In The Dugout was dropped. Club Doncaster said it was going to take a break. When I asked for it to be brought back sometime later, they said they would consider it. It never returned.

As well as answering questions, it brought the club and fans closer together. Since its demise we get to know a lot less than we used to. Releasing it at 5pm on a Friday was an ideal way to get everyone excited about the weekend game.

Things did seem to get a little personal with the way some of the questions were presented but a good interviewer should be able to ask the same pressing, probing questions in a non-aggressive, non-confrontational manner.

The Fans panel was replaced by an Advisory Group. I didn’t join the Advisory Group. I presume fans can still submit questions to be put to the club through the Advisory Group although the minutes of these meetings don’t seem to be made pubic anymore. The club used to post the minutes on their website and I used to post the minutes on here.

I think Jemmo is part of the Advisory Group. Jemmo, do you know why the club stopped posting the minutes on their website? Without publishing the minutes, we have little idea what’s being discussed. At the next Advisory meeting, could you ask if they’d start putting them on their website again please?

Regarding Keighley, I think they’ve realised that with the proposed two leagues of 10 and 10 still a possibility, they decided they must get out of League One or else they risked being cut adrift should the RFL decide there will only be 20 professional clubs.

Should 10 and 10 apply from the start of the 2024 season, the 12 Super League teams plus the top eight in the Championship next season would probably make up the 20. This would mean the bottom four in the Championship plus all of League One could be dumped. Keighley’s further strengthening gives the impression they are doing everything they can to make the top eight of the Championship next season.

The problem is if club doncaster only entertain questions which are mega filtered down we can never get to the bottom of our problems, we just go round in circles season after season with no progression because certain individuals can't handle criticism. In all honesty the questions put to Carl in his office by that young reporter was cringeworthy and totally pre-scripted. It begs the question are we too stubborn to admit poor decisions have been made? Are we too stubborn to admit the 5yr plan was absolutely not achievable but was made to appease the fans? Are we too stubborn to say the ambition needed to progress doesn't match the owners ambitions? They are tough questions but an open and transparent club would be able to answer them. If we fail with promotion we can't go round again with the same philosophy and more importantly same people in charge.

Thanks Jemmo. My last couple of meetings were online and that fitted in best for me too.

I would imagine the club's revenue streams would be greatly increased with promotion to the Championship, so to say the club are happy to stay in League one is questionable.

Yes, our playing budget would also have to increase with the signing of higher quality players, but I think the revenue generated and the Rugby League payments would more than cover expenditure, should we be promoted.

Can you imagine the likes of Leigh ,Fev and Bradford turning up with 20 fans to the Keepmoat like most of our opposition?
No chance.!!!............................... there will be a considerable increase in away support and at £15- £20 a time that is a lot of money back into the pot.
