What’s happened to Tiaki Chan?
Re: Chan : Wed Sep 04, 2024 10:19 am
Been brutally honest, he has been poor. There has been some bad players put a black and white jersey on this season and he is up there as one of them.

He's enthusiastic but that seems to be about it.

I think he's one of those players that are too small to play in the middle and not mobile enough to play on an edge.

He's can be a bit loose in defence too.

Honestly can't see him lasting his full contract at Wigan.

There's been far worse than Chan and in the short few games hes played hes shown "glimpses" of potential but not enough.

Runs very hard and is fast for a forward but not great defensively and has a mistake in him too. Id be gobsmacked if he ever made the grade at the Warriors. Can see him maybe at a Cas, Wakey, Bradford or Featherstone in all honesty in the coming seasons

The fact he couldn't get into our 17 last week, with the players we had out, says it all, like above not really sure what his position is, but maybe shouldn't be judged on his time too much here.

Will probably be in the 17 this week though

he should be playing in the second row

It’s a little difficult and very disingenuous to gauge a players worth when having only played a few games in a chaotic team and season like ours.

I like Chan, he needs to be on the field more but as bonaire says he should be in the second row. He's mobile, quick and runs hard, he's only a kid still and brings good energy off the bench.

It's harsh to judge him playing in a crap team, with crap structures and crap coaching.
