Concern with Morris is the Sharks moved him on because he wasn't seen as the right man take take them forward. They just about got in the play offs in his 2 seasons at Cronulla.

If we've got money coming in soon I'd try and test Salfords resolve and attempt to get Rowley.

Failing that, one of these guys:

Josh Hannay
Michael Monghan
Lee Briers
David Tangata-Toa
Ben Hornby
Dean Young

They're all highly thought of coaches in good systems.

Rowley is the man , it would not be an issue to get him away from Salford , i would love him at Leeds as he plays a good style of Footy and improves players

I think you’ll get your wish with Rowley soon, once Rohan gets the bullet.

100% agree. Rowley is the only domestic coach I'd seriously look at. I think you'd see an immediate improvement if he came in. I just can't see him leaving Salford for us, which probably says more about where we are at than Salford.

On your comment about McDermott I just think he's another yesterday's man. Similar to Smith.

Maybe that's why Pearson has acted now and Thirkill has tipped him off

Tbf to Morris he had to deal with the mess Flanagan left and still managed to keep them in the play offs. At the time I remember the media was surprised they weren’t going to carry on with him, the wheels only came off when Fitz was coming in, which was probably about 2 seasons in the making.

Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I seem to remember them not beating a top 6 side all the time he was there. They'd do really well against the poor teams but struggle against the top sides. Fitzy has been backed a heck of a lot more than Morris was.

He just reminds me of a Steve Price type

I would imagine we would have a shout at Rowley.

It's obviously to be negotiated through Myler who will make assurance on the impending club investment and offer up salary expenditure that exceeds Salfords.

Id also say joining a club with potential at rock bottom is appealing to aspiring coaches.

Guess my glass has reverted to half-full.

Nativity, no doubt.
