It looks like there are going to be big changes at Warrington due to a terrible season. Some of the big name players are not producing (sounds familiar), and Powell is looking to have a big clear out.
From what I've read on the Wire board Philbin has been one of these players and it wouldn't surprise me if Powell wants him out. Although I can't understand though why a player of his experience would be a loaned out for a season rather than a permanent move.
