Its certainly to be hoped so because with the exception of Dan Tomlinson for days and days regurgitating stuff from our new coaches first interview we have as usual heard absolutely nothing at all from the Club, no doubt that's something that will change once the season ticket release date looms
It's getting beyond a joke and another major reason fans are becoming disengaged from the club, It's simple and it's free, just feed him snippets and let him do the rest. They say the new facilities at Hull Uni are a game changer, then get him down there for a few interviews, That is one genuine aspect, along with the new coaching staff that will encourage people to have a renewed optimism. But instead we get silence. Nobody expects to know the in and outs of what's happening behind the scenes but surely they can come up with something and then let Dan make it into an interesting positive story (something he's good at imo). Instead we'll get the usual guff when pre season starts. I could probably copy and paste what i've written on here the last 3 years. Come back fitter and stronger than ever (laughable),tight knit bunch who'll really work for each other (hahahahaha), Hit the ground running, Targeting Old Trafford (isn't everyone) blah blah blah. Keeping the fans engaged via Hull Live should be the easiest thing to do and should be an absolute minimum unless they really DGAF, which i doubt.
The thing about picking up someone like Flanagan is that the Bulldogs might subsidise some of the salary
I thought Flannagan had a pretty decent season for the Bulldogs, is only 24, could be a signing like Croft, think he would do well in SL and as you say, could get get some of his first years salary paid, he could work out a good option.

What are you on about?
The club will announce any signings or additions to the coaching team when they are ready. It's not up to "Dan" to be the club's spokeman.
It's early in the off season. It's a quiet time for all clubs before season ticket announcements, new kits etc.
No need to get all upset if the club aren't issuing press releases every day.

What i'm 'On About' is the fact no news of any description is coming out of the club, I realise any squad or coaching additions will be announced when the club are ready and that major announcements are not a weekly thing, but surely the club can come up with something a couple of times a week to keep themselves in the limelight as much as possible and keep their media presence, it costs them nothing after all. Personally if i wanted to be selling passes i'd be getting as much positive news out there as is reasonably possible after the SOS of a season we've just witnessed again. Or would you prefer the club to drop off the radar for 5 months unless they sign or release a player or appoint a new member of coaching staff.
I'd be interested to see where or how i referred to Dan as 'The clubs spokeman'?? He a journalist who writes stories about the club, to engage people, to sell newspapers or get online clicks, and is one of the few media outlets we have who are actually interested and willing to publish articles on the club
I think some people need to realise there’s more to life then hull fc …. Season has just finished , starts again in February. Players are on their holidays . Switch off and wait for news when and if it happens . What kind of news are people expecting !
