Interview with Tindall in YEP

He's now moved over to the area which is good to see.

Big shoes to fill for the lad but he will hopefully go well for us.

Throwback today with the team running up the hills of Brantingham, used to do the business for us in the 00s.

Also its really noticable how many new faces there are im zooming in on the group pic like 'who?' :) but for me thats a good thing, the team needed a new group to build a new culture.

Mcintosh out for a few weeks, should be back for friendlies, but gives the chance for Martin and Barron to stake their claim for a starting spot. Despite Mcintosh improving, I'm not sure he is good enough to be starting winger. Rather have Tindall, Mitch or Martin.

A confident McIntosh is definitely a starting winger imo (never thought I'd hear myself saying that).
He worked hard last season to get himself back into the team and was always standout quality in the reserves.
It's definitely his spot to lose but I'm excited about the younger players coming through. Particularly Martin.

Too slow for me and isn't particularly strong, think wingers need one of those. He wouldn't have scored that try Martin did against Saints. Looks like a low level SL winger, which is what we are trying to move away from.

Not as slow as I thought. He has come back from a major injury and steadily got his pace back. Against Saints when he got the intercept even Ritson who's regarded as one of the quickest couldn't run him down.

Watch that try again, he caught up with him from the other side of the pitch, just dived too early to make the tackle. Same side would have caught him easily.

I'm not saying he's a speedster but wouldn't say he's slow

Probably the slowest starting winger in SL, hard ti think of a slower one, can you? Maybe one like Hall these days but he has power.

TRL had some interesting stats early last season regarding speed. Liam Tindall up there.
