She actually played for the Fev lioness's but has been sidelined with a bulging disc! She had a jab so hopefully it will settle down a bit, some of her former team mates are playing for Fev on Sunday, they played them last week at York and lost 80-8!

Yeah, won't be many teams that beat York Valkyrie this year...think she might do well to have another week off

Did anyone go up by train for the 1895 Cup match earlier this season?
Is it just a number 9 Park&Ride bus from outside the station to Monks Cross?

Yeah we got the train, park and ride very easy to use. There's a few stops as well along the way to the ground that you can catch it from, if you fancy a wonder round town.

Parked in the Vanguard shopping centre car park right next to the ground. Bought a coffee and some cake from Costa, free parking for 4 hours.

Can we pay at the gate on the day
Re: York next : Fri Apr 12, 2024 7:48 am
Interestingly enough we parked in the main car park for free - the car park restrictions only really apply on football match days at which point there are large signs put up - we went into super bowl and were about to buy something when one of the home fans told us this was the case.

So if there are no signs up parking is free
