The name of a one hour podcast with John Minards well worth a listen ,even if you’ve already heard some of the stuff he mentions .Comforting in a strange way to know that we have such passionate people at the helm and steering us in the right direction despite their detractors.
I warmed to John before I ever met him, I mean Luton Town! That makes Trinity seem like a doddle.
I’ve now met three different board members. They are all very different people but have one common trait, they are honest.
It’s not always easy, as there are so few people at Trinity doing far more than at most clubs. So sometimes it takes longer than people like me who are just dipping our toes in would sometimes like. But the reasons are always obvious and the response is always positive.
So far I’ve not once been messed about, we’ve had a few communication issues but nothing we couldn’t get over.
I can’t talk for others but that’s been my experience. But then I’ve spent my life working for myself or umpteen small companies so I do have a genuinely sympathy for those spinning plates at Trinity.
Hopefully as things come on line that will be less of an issue.
