Thats the issue, how many centres can we èmploy. Also from what I saw of young Law on boxing day and what folk say about Ollie Pratt. These look two better prospects than Croft and could quickly eclipse him. Good luck to the kid but these things happen and the club moves on

Croft got big raps as a young centre too I recall. He’s some ways ahead of both now as to be expected. Croft will be a good SL centre I have no doubt. I expected he would be Lyne’s replacement but guess it’s not to be now.

Looks like Shaw scored for Villeneuve.

Who knows they may come back, but development wise its important for them to get some game time.

Hopefully their plight will be a lesson to the other young players to not accept blindly what their agent is telling them

It’s the Shaw one that is a mystery to me - France really isn’t the place to improve imho but who knows. Croft has done well to get that gig, that is a move that would benefit most players.

PT is right on this one imho. From what I’ve seen I’m more impressed with Law than Pratt, but both are good for their age.

Truth is Croft was a 50/50 at best even before his agent cocked up. You watch him last year he could be mistake prone, far more so than Hall for example. He’d have struggled to get a starting place imho. I do agree he did improve a bit at the end of last year, there were glimpses.
