Don't want to see Jowitt ousted to accommodate Shaul either.

Exactly the same for me.

Jowitt will be about to hit his best years at 25 and these are the years he will be developing his ‘smarts’ and skills in managing the defensive line. Max will likely be a one club man and I see him as our full back for another 7 years atleast.

I’m not that bothered if Shaul comes or not because 2 into 1 doesn’t go. I’d rather sign Hardaker who can cover FB and play RC and wing at a push for the quality and utility. Or a young fullback with promise to develop under Jowitt.

I do hope we sign Croft. He was improving as the season went on and for me showed there’s something there for the future.

My thoughts too, also think we’ve got a good un in Tafua and while being a winger could cover centre tok

Gaskill and murphys partnership really blossomed towards the end of the year, Although not sure gaskil will start in the centre though with Murphy next season

Think our outside backs are a match for most of our sl oppositions and we’ve also got great cover too

I’d like to see us tie up shaul
Think he made a massive difference to our back line too

Lyne will ship Murphy in for loads of try’s  .

Shaul wouldn’t make a massive difference at all imo. We’d lose some attacking prowess but probably get a bit more in defence. Jowitt was showing glimpses he was working on this to the back end of the season pulling players into the right areas.

Id support Shaul if he comes but Max is the future at full back and will be at Shauls age a better player imo all round.

Not sure why 2 into 1 won’t go. Anyway I really like Ashalt-bolt?? He wouldn’t cost the earth and is quite young.

As for Max, until that line defence improves he’s always vulnerable, and it hasn’t imho. I don’t know but id suggest that’s what puts coaches off.

It not a bravery issue, he needs to develop a technique.

Back to AB it’s his attacking game I’ve noticed, don’t honestly know if he can defend.

So do I. He is one that probably won’t be ready next season but in 2/3 years could blossom.

Certainly worth a 2/3 year deal for me. Mash will know his capabilities and we will see I guess.

A family friend says not but who knows.

Having seen Wigans reserve team, I can't see why Wigan would want or need him, but who knows.

Oliver Holmes was a name going round a couple of weeks back.

Always seemed to play well against us, but not really done anything at Warrington.

I used to rate the ginger haired kid at Warrington too, who kicked goals, but seems to have gone off the radar.

Didn't he go to Salford?

Holmes isn't a bad player but not what we need right now. He's in the 30 club and we need younger legs in that back row.
Shame the appointment of the new coach came too late to save two of our younger members of the pack. If they knew Mash was getting the top job......they wouldn't have moved on.
