Cas have now officially unveiled Miller as their guy for the next three seasons.
I'm sad he's gone. Strange though that even after approx. 200 appearances in the Red, White and Blue it comes nowhere near how gutted I was when Poching, Ellis, Demetriou and Solomona left. Even Fafita hurt more. Maybe it's because it's been known since last May? Dunno.
Just talking Super League btw so apologies to David Topliss, David Jeans, Bob Haigh, David Smith, Trevor Skerrett etc. etc. etc.
Think he has done very well to get a three year deal, he will be on top money, rumoured that the Cas offer was £ 25 k a season more than his final year with us. He will be one of the top earners at Cas, he will need to impress the fans but also his lesser paid new team mates will soon get fed up if he doesn't match expectations.

I never miss players, once they are gone, they are gone. It's a new era. I only interested in those in the RW&B.
I'll miss Fifita, but as a personality not a player.
Whoever replaces Miller is the guy I'm interested in.
I'm like that with my ex-wives (I don't really have any ex-wives).
Not too bothered about Miller leaving, or even joining Cas.He showed what he was capable of those last 5/6 games, but overall he frustrated me with his inconsistency. Also surprised how much pace he'd lost in last few seasons.

It was interesting to see some of our really old shirts on the highlights reel that Cas released yesterday.
Bet Ashurst will be having a celebratory drink or two ,he certainly won’t miss those hospital passes Milky loved to inflict on him on a regular basis . Likes been already said , he’s old news now , let’s look forwards to his replacement and hope the new incumbent has a more consistent side to his game and can actually pry open goal line defences on a more regular basis .That for me was one of the most frustrating parts of our game , camped on the opposition line and not a clue how to open them up for large parts of our season .Yes we rallied when the poop hit the fan and it was looking dead cert for the drop , but we should never have been in that position in the first place imo . Here’s hoping we can get a good organiser on the field who can take the game by the scruff and turn all that effort on the line into points .

Indeed.
When he joined us he was electric over 30-40 yards. But since his injury in 2019 he’s never really got it back.
He now gets caught even over very short distances and some fairly wide gaps.
Of course that’s not the sum of his game and he has definitely improved in other aspects of his game.
It all depends on what Radford thinks he’s getting and how he intends to use him. If he thinks he’s getting the Miller in those clips he’s going to be very disappointed. If he uses him right he’s got a good player.
Really can’t call this one. He will either be a disaster at Cas or will look brilliant.
