Can't believe Ged got a mention on this thread, was a cracking player for us.
Matt Seers for me, I expected massive things from him but wasn't to be for whatever reason, think it may have been something to do with getting a broken hand on Ryan Hudson's chin.
Just remembered another, Mark Colbeck, cracking LF at amateur level and then ended up in the clink for something quite serious but can't quite remember what.

Being involved in am altercation in town, and I believe a weapon was used.
He was a cracking player, and someone I played with at age limit RL, such a waste

Talented player, but never quite hit the levels he seemed capable of. I don't think we helped by playing him at scrum half, in my opinion he was a 9 all day long. Maybe a little harsh as he wasn't a bad player, but felt that he was close to being a different level but never quite kicked on.

I think it's actually the other way round. He started at 7 and scored a try every game until we moved him to hooker. Good to have his distribution but I think we would have seen more from him at 7. A bit like Lino in playing style.

Agreed, a natural scrum half IMHO.
It seems to be a default setting amongst some fans that if you're not up there with Cooper Cronk then you are a number 9. Not so, Pita was definitely not Cronk but he was handy and more than adequate at SL level.
