Wasn't it originally April when the first few were meant to be able to get in the stand? I thought that's what we were told when we bought the season tickets.
The new stand was the main reason we got ours so we could all be guaranteed seats together, not sure I would have otherwise but hey ho delays happen, bigger things to worry about.

That was my recollection too Lurker.
Have resorted to standing on the western terrace usually surrounded by away fans.
Not best pleased with lack of apology for delay or at least an update.

This is what’s most frustrating, no one at the club has to apologise for the way the season is going.

Honestly. You want an apology for the delay of a month or two on a multimillion pound project that we've been waiting 50 years for.
And the April timeline was definitely a case of we'll try to bring things forward not a target date.

Minards said a long time back Aug would be the earliest they would be looking at a getting the safety certificate and getting fans bums in seats . Obviously no play offs this season and with the concrete delays it’s looking increasingly like 2024 before we can get plonked

Have to agree with pt why is a month or so delay bad or even surprising this sort of thing happens regularly in this sort of build

A delay in a project is nothing unusual and not something worth apologizing for however i think communication from the club especially to those who have purchased season tickets in there should happen.

With the kind of dross we are playing on the field ,If the new stand was finished ,think a lot of ST fans for new stand would be missing or looking for excuse not to go to home matches ,I got to that point Just let's move on to next year .Like the year when covid was about ,fans have just given the club there cash with nothing back in return. .

I can’t wait to get in the new stand but if it’s next season so be it. We can have a grand opening and make it a bit of party atmosphere. Could really market round one.

I think this off season it would be great to reset and re organise the club and business as a whole. Perhaps even rebrand to some degree.

I genuinely believe if we do end up in the championship that if we have someone who can invest to give us a full time and competitive squad that we will see the attendences go from strength to strength and fans will return and then some. If there’s a year to invest then it will be 2024. It will have paid itself back by end of season if we’ve won the league/cup and had a good challenge cup run.

Of course I hope we stay up but regardless there needs to be changes in the business and also an injection of funds to break the mould.

Actually has their been a photo or photos of the front of the new stand which has had glass etc put in place or even progress on the internal rooms/structures?

Be nice to have our media team have a few photos and video shorts etc
