2 sections I think looking at the planning there are 14 spokes, we are currently at 12.

Do we have a rough idea of when the north stand is expected to be at completion? Am I right in thinking this should be ready for the start of the new season?

Looking good!

I believe the last section of the north stand will be done last as it allows better access whilst adding the pre-cast seating sections.

I believe the pilings are in place but TBH I don't know any more than that.

I'm currently working on something else for the club so I've kind of lost track on the stand etc.

Been up this morning for a look around. You cant get too close because of the high boarding around the site. However I managed to see over from the Rollin Shack and although they are not visible on the photo, I could see footings in place for the steel work to continue the remaining two sections. Like as been mentioned this is most likely going to be left till last to allow access to the front, which makes perfect sense.

Looking at the Donny Road side, its quite easy to get a comparison of the stand to the old one, its probably 3 or 4 yards shorter and will end a little bit before the try line, which is fine.

The length of new Stand is 96.5 metres, as you say almost try line to try line

Or over-running the Cas pitch by 10 metres each end, if it helps to think of it that way...

It's quite tricky to see unless you get to that side. The stand is level with the try line, give or take a foot. It's 3-4 yards from the end of the in goal area. For a number of reasons they want to keep that little curved bit in the corner (makes sense when you're there, all to do with levels).

At the South end, there is one more section to go in but thats a fairly straight forward bit with nothing behind it other than a concourse.

Yes I wondered about the far end(Donny Road). The seats will end short of the bottom of the stand on the very end section. Seemed a strange design

It's awkward because it's not level to the new stand, but it makes sense when you see it in the flesh as it were. Thats why those steps are still there I'd guess.Truth is the cost of rectifying it would have been a hefty amount and better spent elsewhere.

You can see the difference at North end and South End of the stand by looking at the Planning drawings FOR REF: PROPOSED EAST STAND - NORTH AND SOUTH ELEVATIONS - P1, the north end is clearly showing higher due to the curved concours.
