With the cost of energy recent times it’s a grand move. If the site can mostly run from solar energy supply and offset the use out of sun hours with excess to the grid it will reduce costs by tens of thousands over the year. That can be invested into other areas of the club.

Hope so! I heard the castings were due to go in/make a start this week as they arrived last week, be good to see a few loaded in on Sunday!

The weather has picked up the past few days, I hope the concrete floor can be completed as far the last section, any signs of bricklaying started? I believe they were due some weeks ago.

I wasn't sure that there was much blockwork on the new stand? is it the first few m up from the floor? sounds daft but not sure if that's one of the tasks that will be done later on after the terracing and roof goes on and the concrete floor

N & S end of stand and rear, have these materials
Num 3 is brickwork that follows the profile of the terrace slope, Num 11 is a concrete structure that fits on top of brickwork that appears to run full width. This covers a fair size area.
The rear of the stand has far more extensive brickwork and pre cast concrete due to running full length of stand and rising up appox half way.

went past this morning and looks like no concrete terracing in but cladding on the back on the new stand.

Obviously, couldn't see into the ground but crane and a cherry picker on the pitch side near the north, not sure what's going on there...

It`s my understanding that there is going to be a backing put on the North stand, does anyone know if that will be cladding?
