Why do you think Drinkwater is down the pecking order. He only missed one game for the last two months and played 21 times this season with only 3 players playing more

He is definitely out of favour towards the end of the season, he was dropped then selected as the only senior player for the game when Catalan played their academy team and then not selected again.

Exactly. Paying 200k+ for a 34 year old such as Gale sounds bonkers. If it was Daly Cherry Evans than fair play. The fact that it’s ‘apparently’ double what it was at Hull also sounds sceptical.

All our big earners have left so to be Trinity's biggest earner probably isn't saying much. Nonetheless I smell BS.

We were offered Cherry Evans when he was first breaking into the NRL.
