Not sure anyone is being defensive PT, rather just pointing out the actual truths in the situation in terms of where both clubs are at, which for me isn`t million miles apart as seems to have been made out here. In reality, there isn`t much between Wakefield and Hull KR other than as someone has said previously a bigger core fan base by a couple of thousand.

As for Batch, of course he is going to come out and give the usual; it`s a club on the up, we have a chance of trophies, I love the coaches philosophy etc he`s hardly going to come out and say they offered me more money, that`s why I'm here.

Has Batch come out and said that?

I don’t think it’s a dig at Wakefield him leaving more a desire to try somewhere else.

He’s sat and watched his brother go from a Fev player to an international whilst he has somewhat stagnated.

I thought he was outstanding towards the end of last year but prior to that he hadn’t kicked on.

It was a miracle he signed his last contract with Trinity so I don’t think it was unexpected he would go when it concluded. I genuinely think he would have gone to any club in SL because that is what he felt he needed, a change of scenery was something he needed personally.

But that's what I thought they were developing. The seating area is old now compared to modern stadiums.

might be old but still looks decent, would love it on our west terrace

Some French media reporting that we are talking with Dylan Napa.

Not sure, he is a quality player and loved him in the NRL but hasn`t seemed to perform at Catalan, also has shown some poor discipline which he would need to tidy up.

Well as it goes I happen to know a fella who is a senior partner in a global security business or so he says and is by his own admission along with his family massive KR fans, maybe he's bank rolling them.

You can't resist the digs can you, but no we are not bank rolling any, though haven't ruled out doing any sponsorship in the near future. Thank you for the little plug though, every little helps.

We started out in the maritime sector, but are branching out further and wider, and will be looking into event security in the very near future, including sports and concerts etc, and I will be contacting all professional sports clubs, promoting our services.

Yes, he has mate, when he signed.

“Personally, I want to really kick on at KR and be challenging for things every year. I want to win some silverware. I think we can do something special as a team."

"I spoke to Willie about the club, himself and how he wants to play and within ten minutes he’d sold me on it. I think how Willie (Peters) wants us to play and what he values as a coach is exactly the environment I want to be a part of.”

Yes, its not bad, though the standing area underneath the hospitality is too low, and is poor for a viewing spectacle, but something similar wouldn't look too bad, obviously a little more elevated.

Frankly I don't cere, he's big, definitely tough and experienced, he will do for me. We need some bite up front even if it costs us occasionally..

Kind of agree. Hasn't really played well since his time at the Roosters to be honest, he underachieved at both Canterbury & Catalan and is a bit of a penalty machine that picks up his fair share of suspensions. Just turned 30 so he still has time but to me he looks like the kind of player the modern day fast game is moving on from. The six again rule, less stoppages and penalty crack downs doesn't really suit him. Maybe worth a punt if Catalans are paying a good chunk of his wages but i wouldn't be loosening the wallet too much for him.

Nothings ever quite right for you.

We are looking for a big strong no nonsense prop, not one of the Apostles who happens to be the best OOC player in the world. What exactly are you expecting exactly from a player? Since when did 192 NRL games and 7 SOO appearances become undesirable in a player, I mean seriously, picky is not the word for it.

Some of the names bandied around on here have never been close to Napa, some barely played SL!

Sorry to sound like I'm having a go, but it's getting daft now, if we get Napa it's a massive coup IMO and way better than some that are being paid big money in SL, again IMO.

I gave my opinion of him. It differs to yours. Deal with it.
