Tanginoa, Murphy and Whitbread would make a massive difference, others are no better than what will be playing on Sunday

I’d add Langi, Lyne to that too.

Squad injuries affect many things including training and preparation. As it stands if Croft isn’t fit we have 0 centres other than perhaps Law available. Lyne and Langi would be better options.

My point isn’t that some are better but that we have 8/9 unavailable for selection which is a common theme and disruptive.

I hope we do give young Law a chance though and I hope Langi is back too.

I’m really not a fan of playing players out of position but it seems a constant thing at trinity for many years under different coaches too.

We all have our own opinions but I have seen very little from Langi this season and just see him as another well past his sell by date

These players are only 30 or so and should be in their pomp but for whatever reason aren’t.

I’m I credibly disappointed with a few players in our squad tbh. I will still be there supporting them though if they wear the shirt and I hope the players find some form.

Lyne and Langi are the only two centres that we have. If they were fit i would pick them both in a heartbeat over anything else that i have seen so far.

Only other options that i can see might be Oli Pratt who looked ok on his one appearance, and possibly Dagger who does look to have pace but isnt providing anything at 1 or 6

I don't think Langi has been too bad personally. Yes he is on the decline, hence he is here in the first place, but we've had a lot worse performers than him this year.

Agree same with most of the players.Counted 7 players at M W that had played at Wakefield ,but had moved on to other S L teams , All looked far better players than for us .Wounder if this is down to been in a better drilled side ,or the poor coaches we have had at this club over the last years

Applegarth is the 6th coach we've had since the messiah took over 10 years ago.

Could there also maybe a case that players and coaches we've had may not have the respect of the man at the top

No Bowden, Crowther or Hood. Doesn’t get much easier does it.

Hopefully a couple are back. Every year we seem to have the worst injury crisis in the league. We had this last year but luckily it cleared up for last run of games.

Does it really matter which 17 players we pick because they play to the same standard each game. I regret the comments by Kevin Brown are sadly accurate with regards the season. We are on course to be the worst team in SL history, not a legacy to be proud of but one they created.

You are, in fact, not yet on course to win even that dubious accolade. In 2021, Leigh lost their first SIXTEEN SL games before finally winning the 17th - they then won another (but only one).

Reasons to be cheerful? Kettykat (good evening, hope you are well?) is well up for Leeds. You could be ahead of the unwanted record!
