| First off, without Carter, we would have gone and would, at best, be in The Championship.
You can't blame the gut for trying to protect his investment but, despite the profit posted in the most recent set of accounts, which are based on our trading position of almost 2 years ago, we look desperately, desperately short of cash and we have a squad that would need to be fully fit all season and then, hope that we manage 10th/11th spot..
The chickens are coming home to roost and we have multiple injuries and we look stuffed (sorry for the chicken pun).
Can we get out of this and if so, how ?

| I've listened to the interview, and whilst I'm still disappointed we've let Hall go, I get why we've done it. Not ideal, but I can see the logic.
Regarding Carter, I've spoken to him on a few occasions. I think he's a decent and honest bloke who has always done right by the club and people involved. Yes, we've got the recruitment and retention wrong over the last few yeas, but I don't think you can argue with what he's achieved off the field. The only thing I'd like to see going forward is someone to help look after the rugby side of things who will challenge the signings/recruitment to make sure we getting value for money. I think Kear's time has gone, but someone similar to do what he did with Chester.

Why? We've enough average props already, we don't need another. If we were short i'd get it but with Bowden due back and Butler crying out for more chances we have enough numbers. Anybody who comes in has to be better than what we already have and this lad is no better than those already here.

| Mr Carter says he is looking to do another swop deal for a middle. It begs the question who would the potential swop club want from us?. Also what about a creative half back. Surely we need that more than a middle?

Warrington on the hunt for a forward after Mikeale leaving imminently.
Tanginoa does hold good value if the deal is right for trinity. Certainly opens up room for talks.

Go on then spill those beans!
Warrington & Wigan are the only possibles i see now really due to possible availability and quota spaces etc.

Yes and would bring a prop our way and free up a quota spot. Icing on the cake would then be a decent stand off to fill free quota spot. If Carter could pull that one off I would be the first to buy him a pint, not a ground prices though, that would be pushing it

Probably looking at Bullock or Philbin then. Bullock is out injured for another month i think so maybe the latter.
