Below is a paragraph from the Nov 2020 planning application. Sadly, during the time since the application things beyond the club’s control have changed everything, I believe Trinity have been fortunate to have the right people at the club to deliver what we now see. It’s not perfect but it’s certainly an improvement.

The Refurbished Rollin Shack Building
3.3.24 This existing brick building, which is located in the south-eastern corner of the site, currently includes the changing rooms, club shop and reception. It is understood that the relocation of these facilities to the refurbished East Stand would allow this building to be refurbished internally in order to provide the additional facilities which were previously proposed to be included in the East Stand. These would include the Gym/Studios (for gym classes)/Changing Facilities and Café, with the gym element being part of Phase 2.

Well let’s hope that the actual cafe, internal refurbishment goes ahead (as in the walls/electrics/decor) and it’s just the gym and equipment as mentioned that are delayed only. it would be a massive boost to the players to have updated facilities to train in.

Guess it will become more apparent as the east stand is completed what money is left for the north east corner.

Ultimately I just want the club to get the best it can. I have complete trust in the owners. I’m sure all the coatings and increases will be scrutinised and transparent.

I think an open plan multi use space would see much more community engagement than a gym. To host say toddler rugby lessons, dance classes, fitness circuits etc. Never saw how a community gym of the size it would have been in there would work with public and rugby team use

I said some, mainly the ones who said we had a low quality team. A lousy comment against a group of young men and their coach who are yet to play a game in anger.

If you’re going to come out with guff like that then you deserve the same back and that’s what they got I stand by it 100%.

As a mod, Scarlet has directly quoted you. Why not just explain what you meant rather than the usual "here we go", "hopelessly score points" "pretty low" "come out with guff"
