It's always the same. When we lose heavily people point to the fitness and defense when most of the time for us it is completion rate and field position.
Lino has proved when he has a dominent pack he runs rings round opposition, but he can't do it with a rushing defense on the half way line.
The stats we need to improve are post contact metres especially in the middle and speed and accuracy of pass.
It would be nice if the wingers ran with confidence too but good field position will do that.

Atoni is doing an average of 58 metres a game, that wouldn’t be good enough in league 1 never mind SL. Lino is second in the league at errors, so for me he’s either Tommy Dickfingers or too much pressure on him to come up with plays with the minimal time we spend on the opposition line. Paul Vaughan has made 1/6 of our total metres so far, that’s 1 prop. We are top for tackles, yet in the middle of the table for missed tackles, so our defence and effort is there.
